1. Scope of Services

Essential Cleaning Company (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides residential and commercial cleaning services as agreed upon at the time of booking. Services are performed according to the scope selected by the Client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).

Any additional services requested outside the agreed scope may result in additional charges and must be approved prior to completion.

2. Pricing & Payment Terms

All pricing is provided in advance of service. By confirming a booking, Client agrees to the quoted rate.

Payment is due according to the payment method on file. Essential Cleaning Company reserves the right to:

    •    Charge the card on file upon completion of service

    •    Require prepayment for certain services

    •    Suspend or discontinue services for unpaid balances

Returned payments, chargebacks, or failed transactions may result in administrative fees and service suspension.

3. Scheduling & Cancellation Policy

Clients may reschedule or cancel services with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Essential Cleaning Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to:

    •    Unsafe conditions

    •    Inaccessible property

    •    Utilities not functioning

    •    Severe weather or emergencies

4. Access to Property

Client is responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled service time.

If entry is not possible upon arrival, a lockout fee may apply.

Essential Cleaning Company is not responsible for alarms left activated, inaccessible areas, or undisclosed hazards.

5. Satisfaction Policy

If Client is not satisfied with a completed service, notification must be made within 24 hours of service completion.

We will make reasonable efforts to address concerns within the originally agreed scope of work. Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at the Company’s discretion.

6. Liability Limitations

Essential Cleaning Company is insured. However:

    •    We are not responsible for pre-existing damage.

    •    We are not liable for normal wear and tear.

    •    We are not responsible for fragile items not disclosed in advance.

    •    We are not liable for items not secured or stored properly.

Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service in question.

7. Non-Solicitation of Staff

Essential Cleaning Company invests substantial time, resources, and financial investment in recruiting, training, insuring, and retaining its team members.

By engaging our services, Client agrees not to directly or indirectly solicit, hire, contract, or otherwise engage any employee or contractor introduced through Essential Cleaning Company during active service and for a period of twelve (12) months following termination of services.

“Direct or indirect solicitation” includes, but is not limited to:

    •    Offering private work

    •    Exchanging personal contact information for independent services

    •    Engaging team members outside of Essential Cleaning Company

In the event a Client directly engages a Company team member outside of Essential Cleaning Company, a placement fee equal to $2,500 or three (3) months of average service value (whichever is greater) shall apply.

This provision is standard within staffing and workforce service industries and is intended to protect the Company’s investment in its personnel.

8. Independent Contractor & Employment Status

All team members performing services on behalf of Essential Cleaning Company are employees or contracted personnel of the Company and are not employees of the Client.

Client acknowledges that services are provided through Essential Cleaning Company exclusively.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of California.

10. Agreement to Terms

By booking services, submitting payment, or continuing service with Essential Cleaning Company, Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
